Acrylic Texture

Build Green Acrylic Texture is a trowel-applied, synthetic grooved finish that offers both decorative and protective qualities. Made with modified acrylic emulsion and marble texturizing sand, this product provides a unique textured pattern for both interior and exterior surfaces. It delivers long-lasting protection and enhances the aesthetic appeal of walls.

APPLICATION

SURFACE: All cement plastered surface, BrickMasonry, concrete surface Marine plywood, Gypsum board, Alumin sheet, Metal sheets and has excellent bonding to Glass sheet

TOOLS: For best results, use good quality Trowel

DILUTION: If required use 3-5% potable water

STEP 1:

1 Coat Build Green Wall Putty-6-8 Hrs Dry Time.

Step 2 :

2 Coat 2mm Texture-12-16 Hrs Dry Time.

STEP 3:

Build Green clear coat for total surface protection.

PREPARATION

Surfaces to be textured must be clean, dry and free from seepage, leakage, loose old paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, soap, wax and any other contamination

New plaster or masonry surfaces must be allowed to cure (15 days) before application

Cured plaster should be hard (non-powdery) and in sound condition

Growth of fungus, algae or moss should be removed by wire brushing and washing thoroughly with potable water

In case of areas having excess dampness/waterproofing issues, please repair the surface before applying texture.

In case there are structural cracks, study and repair them with a structural engineer

Apply Build Green Wall Putty (where needed) to fill the dents or to level the surface

Build Green 2mm Texture should not be applied on surfaces / substrates that are subjected to continuous seepage or dampness till the surface is repaired.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not apply below 10° C or above 45° C or if humidity is > 90%
Pre-wet the surface before application of Texture
Tightly close the bucket when not in use and store in a cool, dry place
Use of Universal Stainers or colorants is not recommended
Thinning is advisable depending on the ambient temperature if it exceeds 35 deg C.

Store the container with the lid tightly closed in an upright position, in a cool, dry place
Harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion seek immediate medical attention.
Keep out of reach of children and away from eatables.
Wear eye protection during application. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately
with plenty of water and seek medical advice
Do not pour leftover texture down the drain or in water courses.
